文句

Textual explanation or criticism, also termed [lang id =1028]章; [lang id =1028]疏; [lang id =1028]述義; [lang id =1028]記, etc.; the term applies to works on canonical texts in general, but has particular reference to the <Lotus Sutra>, i. e. the [lang id =1028]妙法蓮華經文句.

文即字也。 依類象形為字， 形聲相稱曰文。 謂一切契經， 皆以文為身， 文成語為句， 詮顯其義， 必藉於文， 是為文句。
